went there yesterday for lunch with my girlfriend. the restaurant itself is cozy and modern. i liked the atmosphere. only thing i disliked was the toilet flush. the sensor didn't work at the first time. the service was perfect. polite and professional. the food was classical and nicely done. i really liked the plating. the wine list was quit big with interesting bottles. many french wines. for lunch we took the a la carte option. it's also possible to take the full menus but we didn't have that much time. cocktails were also up to my expectation. would recommend and come back again

Loved everything here. Great selection of wine and tasty food. However the staff are too attentive, so it feels like being stared while eating.

Wonderful lunch, looked as good as it tasted and Lobster Raviolo was to die for. The service was flawless and a lovely extra dessert to celebrate a special occasion.

Very disappointed with the overall experience. The dishes were ok, none of them were bad but there was nothing special either. There was only one dish (lamb rack) that I thought was very good, the rest were ok. For a one Michelin star, this is probably one of the worst I have come across when it came to service levels. The wait staff were very attentive when we came in, but once the courses were ordered, it only went downhill from there. Never have I been to a restaurant where I had to wait 30+ mins in between each course (there were 6 courses in total). I have heard superb reviews about this restaurant before I went, but I was very let down by the overall experience.

We went for diner here because we got word for some great wine-tasting pairings here. The quality of the dishes and the choices of wines were top notch. Just a bit on the pricey side for a one-star restaurant though, we paid ca. 700 euros per person; for comparisson in a three star restaurant on the European mainland you’re paying around 500 euros per person. In Petrus’ defence: we did order all the extra rounds and dishes and options, so we weren’t actually that careful with our budgets either, but still … The restaurant has a very classic French look and feel, highpole carpet, white curtains and tablecloth, bit too stiff for my taste, but its a matter of subjective taste. Anyway, the culinary experience was exquisite. Our host was very knowledgeable on the chosen wines, the dishes were just great. You’ll have a great experience here for sure.

Our exceptional dining experience at Petrus was a night we will remember for a long time. The atmosphere was cozy with soft lighting and elegant decor. We opted for the Discovery tasting menu and each dish was delicious and the presentation was faultless. The service was excellent and all the staff were attentive and polite, a special mention for Kane who certainly made our night so enjoyable. I last dined here a few years ago and I can say that it was pleasure from beginning to end and a memorable experience.

I had one of the best meals at this restaurant. I visited it during lunch time, and selected a discovery tasting menu. When I saw an indulgence of matching wines, I just couldn't say no to them. The somelie who created that wine list is really good at her job, as it's nothing short of being amazing. The food itself was excellent. Each dish was beautifully presented, explained by the wait staff, and tasted great. The service was top notch. I'm actually a little surprised that Petrus has just one star as it really deserves another one.

Took my partner here to celebrate a birthday. We opted for the lunch menu £47pp + supplement £25pp. We shared a bottle of house champagne ~£115 with water and coffee each. Total bill inc 15% service was £325. We enjoyed it. It was a nice experience. Staff were friendly, professional but relaxed (in a good way). They provided a card and a small chocolate dessert as a birthday gesture. Food was nice but I think I expected more, however I loved the salmon with butter, chive and horseradish sauce. The lobster supplement was probably my least favourite - the sauce was like a burnt caramel, which didn’t compliment well. House champagne and coffee both great!
